We’re a week away from the premiere of ‘Legion’ on FX and True Believers still aren’t really 100% sure about what they should expect. No matter how many stills, TV spots, or trailers come out, the upcoming X-Men show from Marvel Television and 20th Century Fox is still incredibly mysterious due to the nature of David Haller’s inexplicable mind-related powers. But now the network has released a brand new featurette to try to make some sense of it all.

Recently, a behind the scenes look at the latest creation from Noah Hawley of ‘Fargo’ fame was shared online. In the preview, the showrunner and a few of his stars attempt to explain what’s happening in ‘Legion’. But whether it’s comic book elements, a song and dance number, or budding romance, each new detail spawns further questions that push the viewer to watch the show so they can get some answers. And as Hawley says, this series is more of an experience. So in an attempt to navigate through that experience, check out the video below, followed by the official synopsis:

‘Legion’, based on the Marvel Comics, follows the story of David Haller – a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric wards for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that he is a mutant with inexplicable powers.

Did that featurette help you sort out any of your feelings toward ‘Legion’? Will you be tuning in next week to get some answers? And does this experience pique your interests enough to take part in it? Let us know in the comments.

‘Legion’ starring Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Aubrey Plaza, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Katie Aselton, and Bill Irwin premieres on February 8, 2016 at 10:00pm EST on FX.
