Nebula wound up as a de facto member of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ at the end of the first film and she will play a role in upcoming sequel, but now Karen Gillan has spilled that her blue-skinned character will be back for even more Marvel goodness.

She admitted:

“And then I’ll be making a little appearance in the next Avengers movies.”

That was movies plural.  It’s been unclear how the next two ‘Avengers’ movies will play out.  Originally, they were billed as ‘Infinity War Part 1’ and ‘Part 2’ but that was then changed as they were decided to be two separate movies.  But now we know that Nebula will be in both.  So there’s some connection, right?

At any rate, we know that Joe and Anthony Russo are directing the next ‘Avengers’ movie and that the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be going up against Josh Brolin as Thanos.  After ‘Captain America: Civil War’ the heroes are splintered but they may be coming back together against this uber threat.  We already know that the Guardians of the Galaxy (which apparently includes Nebula now), Doctor Strange, the Black Panther and Spider-Man will be included.  And Thor and the Hulk will be back in the fold.

What does this spell for ‘Avengers 4’?  Will it be a continuation of ‘Infinity War’ or not?
