While Ryan Murphy‘s ‘American Horror Story‘ is “all connected” it can be difficult to see exactly when some of the events actually fit into the timeline but a new video has you covered. Popped Culture has taken the time to create a timeline through the current season to show you what happened. Everything from ‘The Murder House’ through ‘Hotel’ (although it doesn’t include the sixth season quite yet as we’re only one episode in) is covered and shown how it all interconnects.
Honestly, if you start to think about it, between ‘Coven’ being set pretty far in the past of New Orleans in flashbacks and ‘Hotel’ being set partially in the present day, there is a huge range of time periods to cover. The seasons all tell multiple stories that resonate throughout the years, covering both the past and present so it makes you start to wonder when it all actually takes place.

I think the one thing that we can all agree on is that by the time ‘American Horror Story: Roanoke‘ comes to a close, we’ll have a new period piece be the oldest in FX’s ongoing anthology horror series. That is, of course, assuming that this whole season is “real” and not a movie being made within the world of ‘American Horror Story’ or some other such nonsense which we’ve been fortunate enough to avoid so far.
