For the first time in the show’s history, all ‘Game of Thrones’ fans will be on a level playing field. Since George R.R. Martin hasn’t finished the next installment of his ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ series titled ‘The Winds of Winter’ yet, the people who read the books first will know just as much about the upcoming sixth season of the acclaimed HBO fantasy drama as everyone else — AKA not a damn thing. But whether you were a reader first or not, there’s a good chance that you’re excited for the season premiere in April and you’re willing to take any new information that you can no matter how big or small the tease is. Well, this is a fairly small one, unless you read far too deeply into a slight pause in someone’s speech.

Since the promotional campaign for ‘Game of Thrones’ season six began, we’ve been seeing images of Jon Snow. When we last saw Kit Harington’s character, it looked like he was pretty dead, but many theorize that that might not actually be the case. Well, when E! Online caught up with Emilia Clarke at HBO’s Golden Globes party, correspondent Will Marfuggi went right for it and asked Daenerys Targaryen herself what the deal with the fan favorite character from House Stark was in the new season. The Khaleesi remained tight-lipped, but she did share that the “biggest moments on television that have ever existed” are coming up. Could she be referring to Snow’s fate? That’s entirely possible. Clarke also revealed that the cast is “kind of excited and nervous” to deviate from the books this season, “but there’s something for everyone”. Check out the entire interview in the video below:

Okay, that didn’t really give us anything to go on, but it’s exciting to see ‘Game of Thrones’ cast members start talking about the show again. With a number of award shows on the horizon, I’m sure that we’ll hear from more very soon.

Until then, we’ll just try our best to wait patiently until the HBO series returns on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 9:00pm.
