Warner Bros is clearly desperate to build up as much hype as possible for the upcoming ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ which helps explains why they have been flooding the airwaves of late with TV spots for the highly anticipated blockbuster. Of course, whether the plan is to lure everyone in for the spectacle during its opening weekend because they know the film is not quality enough to stay at number 1 once word of mouth gets out is anyone’s guess.

For now we have two new TV spots released from Warner Bros, only one really showing anything truly new. The first one features the scene of Lex Luther introducing Bruce Wayne/Batman to Clark Kent/Superman at his party, the scene which everyone remembers from the trailer, and for which poor Jesse Eisenberg is being maligned for in fan circles, claiming he plays a terrible Lex Luthor.

The second TV spot is far more entertaining, as it shows the Batmobile approaching Superman, who does not seem at all impressed by the revered car of Batman. Superman does not move as Batman tries to side-swipe him with the car, and the Batmobile bounces off the Man of Steel and crashes into a nearby building. Following that, the Dark Knight exits the car and delivers what is arguably one of the best lines we have yet heard from the film, where he utters “Do you bleed? You will.” It is a very cool moment for both Superman and Batman, and if the rest of the film manages to carry even a little of that sense of fun and capture that entertaining style, then ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ might just have a chance of living up to the hype.

What are your thoughts on the two new TV Spots? Do they change your opinion of the movie? Or were you always going to be there on opening night for ‘Batman V Superman’ when it opens on March 25th? Share your opinions of the film down in the comments below!
