Producer Rob Cowan (‘San Andreas’,’The Crazies’) cares about his actors as has has shown by hiring an actual exorcist to bless the set for when ‘The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist‘ went into production. With ‘The Conjuring’ being one of the best horror films to be released in recent years you have to wonder what happened during filming to get them to want an exorcist present this time around. Though a better question might be what previously happened on the set that they are currently on to warrant such precautions.

Here is the image Cowan shared to announce how they are taking care of their cast on the film.

No matter how you look at the idea of there being spirits around for filming, this is the perfect way to get the actors properly in the mood for dealing with the supernatural.

In this sequel we will see Patrick Wilson returning as Ed with Vera Farmiga reprising her role as Lorraine Warren. The married couple will be continuing their investigation into the occult by visiting London in 1977. Their mission is to check out Margaret Hodgson’s house which appears to be haunted. The story follows that Hodgson’s four children after they have started see unnatural events in the house. What the mother initially thinks is a prank quickly escalates into her being worried for their safety. I’m quite happy to see that the second movie will be focusing on the Warrens once again as they really pulled off the perfect combination of knowing being both paranormal investigators while still being fearful in the face of evil.
