The most iconic scenes from the original ‘Independence Day’ were how many of the world’s most iconic landmarks were destroyed and posters for ‘Independence Day: Resurgence‘ are promising more destruction on the same scale! We’ve got plenty of new posters and HD stills from the upcoming sequel to share with you today and if nothing else it looks to be just as visually fun as the first was. Assuming your idea of fun is destruction on a mass scale from an alien invasion.

First up are my personal favorites, the iconic destruction of the world’s monuments! Talk about some amazing posters here, let’s take a look.

Some of that destruction doesn’t feel right with the ships just flying over them but I’m hoping that is how they are promising us that a few of the national monuments from around the globe won’t soon exist in this version of our world. Not to be outdone with just some new posters, we’ve also got a slew of new HD shots from the film.

A lot of great looks at both the cast and some of the war that’ll be happening between alien and human in the film. Well, at least humanity on the receiving end of said war.
