Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has decided to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the character he first introduced in ‘New Mutants #98,’ as well as build up anticipation for the Ryan Reynold’s starring ‘Deadpool‘ movie coming out next year, by hiding 24 original drawings/sketches in and around San Diego Comic Con this year, leading fans to the treasured pieces by means of an elaborate scavenger hunt he will be orchestrating by means of his social media outlets, namely Twitter, Instagram, and Periscope. In his own words:

“I want to give something back to the tremendous fan following Deadpool has enjoyed since I introduced him in the pages of New Mutants #98!… I’m also going to be utilizing clues through various web sites during the show to make it more interactive! Fans are encouraged to follow all my social media outlets on twitter, Instagram and periscope to get all the info surrounding the sketches and the times and clues surrounding their whereabouts.”

And honestly, who would not want to find one of these pieces and be able to say they solved a scavenger hunt clue at Comic Con to find it? And to make it even more challenging to all who are going to make the attempt, Liefeld has said the art could be placed anywhere within the convention center, the Gas Lamp district surrounding the event, as well as surrounding restaurants, and he said some might even make their way into parties he is attending.

Good luck to everyone attending that wants to own a piece of ‘Deadpool’ history!
