This week has been absolutely insane if you’re a fan of superhero movies. With every passing day, more and more people finish Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ on Netflix and realize how awesome it is. Then, the promotional blitz for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ has been fully kicked into gear with a number of clips, interviews, featurettes, and more. On top of all that, we got to see a new trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’. (Sure, it isn’t a superhero movie, but how could I not mention it?) And finally a brief teaser for ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ was released in preparation for the full trailer debut on Monday, April 20th. However, it appears that you won’t have to wait a whole weekend to see the first footage from the upcoming DC Entertainment epic.
Fans have been waiting for some time to see Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight go toe to toe with Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel. Previously, we’ve only seen pictures or quick glances at their suits, but now thanks to CNET, we don’t have to trek to a theater near you to see the special IMAX presentation of the ‘Batman v Superman’ first trailer. Of course, the titles aren’t in English and it’s less than stellar quality, but if none of that bothers you, you can check it out in its entirety below:
Though it’s cool to see the new status quo for Kal-El after ‘Man of Steel,’ the most interesting thing has to be Batman’s armored suit. I’m a big fan of the Frank Miller-esque look, but I’m not so sure on the voice modulator. It makes more sense than Christian Bale’s Batman voice, although I wouldn’t necessarily say that I prefer my Caped Crusader sounding like a robot.
