The latest trailer for AMC’s smash hit ‘The Walking Dead’ is out and we see Rick Grimes and his travelling companions quite armed and dangerous. Things seem a bit bleak with his current outlook on life as well because according to Rick, “Surviving. Surviving together is all that matters. It’s all that matters.” It is an interesting take on a trailer for ‘The Walking Dead’ as I honestly can’t tell if this is direct footage from an episode, edited footage from an episode, or if this was shot specifically for the commercial.
Let’s take a look.
Clearly in the video our survivors are trying to get through a forested area and have some kind of opponent to take down. It isn’t clear if they are up against zombies or other humans, but we know that historically on the show they attempt to avoid shooting walkers unless they have to as the gunshots will just draw more to the undead. However, without actually seeing what they are trying to get away from, it’s hard to tell what is coming for them.
We’re under a month and a half away from seeing how Rick’s crew is doing and if they can get back to picking up everyone staying at the Church. After what happened at the closure of the mid season finale, I suspect we’re going to have a lot of loss throwing off the group even more than they have been as of late.
All I really know is that I’m dying to see how Morgan is going to return to the show and what kind of an impact he will have on the last half of the season.
