Telltale Games has put out a launch trailer for the now available first episode of  ‘Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series’ entitled ‘Iron From Ice’.

Alongside some subtle introductions of the game’s characters and some dialogue from familiar faces from the HBO TV show of the same name, the new launch trailer also shows a little taste of some of the running tensions and conflicts that fall on to the House Forrester that you’ll be seeing in the first episode.

‘Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series’ is an episodic graphic adventure game series that has players taking control of five members of House Forrester, a noble house from the Wolfswood in the north of Westereos. As bannermen of House Glover, the Forresters swear loyalty to the infamous House Stark. However, when the War of the Five Kings wages on, the Forresters are placed in a position that threatens every single one of them. In order to survive, the player must do their best to make the right decisions. But just like other titles by Telltale Games, whether they can do so with a clear conscience is another thing entirely.

Announced during the Spike VGX Awards 2013, ‘Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series’ looks to focusing on mirroring the style and tension featured in the famous TV series based on George R.R. Martin’s book series. This looks to be coming across with Telltale Games’ decision to the include actors from the show reprising their roles, such as Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Lena Heady as Cersei Lannister, Natalie Dormer as Margaery Tyrell and Iwan Rheon as Ramsay Snow. The series itself takes place after the third season of the show.

The first episode ‘Iron From Ice is available now for PS4, PS3, Windows PC and Mac. It will be available for Xbox One and Xbox 360 on December 3, while the iOS version is expected on December 4. An Android version is expected to release later this month.
