Telltale Games has released a teaser trailer for their new game series based on the popular book and TV series ‘Game of Thrones.’

The trailer itself was released via Telltale Game’s blog. Clocking in at nearly a minute, the teaser shows off a little bit of how the game looks in-motion, as well as a lovely monologue by a character describing House Forrester and their relationship with House Stark. From what is shown, the game definitely looks like its presenting itself to be one that closely mirrors the deceitful tendencies and grey morality often seen in the ‘Game of Thrones’ series.

On top of the new trailer, Telltale Games also announced that many of the cast members from the TV series will be reprising their roles for the game. Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Lena Heady as Cersei Lannister, Natalie Dormer as Margaery Tyrell and Iwan Rheon as Ramsay Snow are all confirmed to reprise their roles. The studio teases that additional cast members will also appear in later episodes, but have withheld more announcements in order to keep them a surprise.

Telltale Games’ ‘Game of Thrones’ has players taking control of the five members of House Forrester, a Northern Wolfswood family who are Bannermen to House Glover and have always sworn loyalty to the series’ famous House Stark. As the Forresters, you must do everything you can to help prevent the destruction of their family during the War of the Five Kings, of which they are placed in a highly precarious position.

‘Game of Thrones’ is being developed by Telltale Games, an award-winning studio known primarily for their work on ‘The Walking Dead’ game series and ‘The Wolf Among Us,’ a series based on the popular ‘Fables’ comics written by Bill Willingham. The studio’s games are renown for primarily focusing on the effects of player decisions and how they can change and alter the story.

The first episode in the six episode game series is entitled ‘Iron from Ice.’ It is scheduled to release by the end of this year for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows PC, Mac and iOS.
