For those who just need to see it all in advance, we’ve got some new set photos from ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice‘ to share with you today with a special focus on the Waynes. Sure, we may have seen Wayne Manor before, but this time around we’ve got the Wayne Family Crypt to share with you.
Exciting I know.
Still, you can’t have Batman without a hint of the tragic death of his parents which spurred him into the role of being Batman so the fact that we’re going to have a reference to the Wayne’s crypt. No word yet if this means that we’ll get the upteen millionth flashback to the night of his parents murders or just see Bruce or someone else paying respects to the parents crypt while trying to decide what to do going forward.
Maybe they’ll show Bruce trying to have a moment of perspective while visiting the graves. If the rumor is true that he’s been using drones for quite some time now, is this what might be what helps to motivate him to wear the costume once again? That is just speculation of course.
For now, here are four images of the Crypt set to tide you over!
There is also an image of what looks to be hearses which makes me wonder if there will be a funeral going on in the background, if Bruce is here for a funeral and stops by his parents, or if they will just be in the background. Perhaps he lost a friend in Metropolis during the events of ‘Man of Steel‘ whose body was flown home and he stops here after that funeral? Maybe that is what pushes him to become Batman once again. There are a lot of theories we can take from these pictures and no actual details to work off of.
The crypt itself isn’t too detailed or super large but I’m sure it’ll get the point across while on screen.
