The CW’s ‘The Tomorrow People’ debuted to solid ratings, retaining a large percentage of the audience of its lead-in ‘Arrow’.  The show focuses on a group of young people who are the next stage of evolutionary development, led by Stephen played by Robbie Amell and Cara played by Peyton List.  These powerful individuals have an astounding power set– they can communicate with one another via telepathy, they can move things with telekinesis and perhaps coolest of all, they can teleport from place to place.

On the show, they must use their powers to fight for their survival against the organization known as Ultra, led by Dr. Jedekiah Price, a human that wants to stomp them out of existence. But what would happen if they could simply use their abilities to get out of awkward situations?

Have you ever thought someone was waving at you and waved back, only to realize they were waving at someone behind you?

Awkward!

Or what about those times you get stuck in a boring conversation?

Problem solved!

Check out this video of Robbie Amell and Peyton List, made for Buzzfeed, where they completely abuse their teleportation powers:

I think we’ve all been in most of these spots!  Wouldn’t being able to teleport out make life much more bearable?

Are there any additional situations you can think of where this power would come in handy?  Leave a comment below!
