Hey there Deadheads! It’s almost that magical time of the year again. What time, you ask? Fall?  Oh no, something much better than crisp autumn air and pumpkin spice lattes is heading your way. It’s almost time for Season Four of ‘The Walking Dead’ to premiere! Feel free to click your heels in the air, fist pump, or whatever floats your boat. Instead of crushing dry leaves with your super cute galoshes, get into the spirit of things by watching these guys crush the skulls of zombies with their super cute combat boots.

To get you all in the mood, AMC has released the below teaser photos from the two first episodes of the season, titled “30 Days Without Incident” (Ep. 401) and “Infected” (Ep. 402).

To tag along with the photos, here are a few brief synopses:

Episode 401 – “30 Days Without an Accident” – The group lives an ideal life at the prison, and strives to hold onto humanity.

Episode 402 – “Infected” – The group faces a new enemy; Rick and the others fight to protect their hard-won livelihood.

Episode 403 – “Isolation” – A group leaves the prison to search for supplies; the remaining members of the group deal with recent losses.

Episode 404 – “Indifference” – The supply mission faces hurdles; the situation at the prison worsens.

I don’t know about you, but this group going 30 days without an accident seems pretty unlikely, especially with Rick at the helm. Who am I to judge? Maybe he’s gotten his act together since we last saw him, but I’m not holding my breath.

In addition to regular cast members, we have a few editions joining the Deadhead family. Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. as Bob Stookey (his character is rumored to be that of the comedic variety, should be a nice change from his dramatic role on ‘The Wire’, or well, maybe not…) and Christian Serratos as Rosita Espinosa (you’ll know her for her Emmy nominated work on ‘Twilight’, oh wait..er….). Also getting a bump up to series regular in the world of the undead are Chad Coleman (aka Tyreese), Sonequa Martin-Green ( aka Sasha) and Emily Kinney (aka Beth Greene). Woo-Hoo!! The deliciously devilishly evil Governor (otherwise known as David Morrissey) is also coming back as a series regular. Die hard fans will take these new changes with a grain of salt however, because in the universe of ‘The Walking Dead’, no one is safe so its best to not get too attached (I’m looking at you T-Dog, RIP. Lori on the other hand, you can rot).

The new season of ‘The Walking Dead’  kicks off on AMC on Oct. 13th, let us know  in the comments section below if you’re going to tune in!
