At this point in time, you might as well refer to the cast of ‘The Avengers’ as Jon Snow since they all know nothing. While some may argue that they all know something about being ridiculously good looking, none of them so far know about the finale of Marvel’s Phase Two and the sequel to their massively popular blockbuster directed by Joss Whedon. Back at this year’s Comic-Con, Captain America himself Chris Evans revealed that he had no idea that the announcement was coming from the boss at the convention. Now, his co-star and resident thunder god reiterates that stance on the project.

In the very near future, we’ll be seeing Chris Hemsworth don the red cape and mighty hammer of the Asgardian Avenger in ‘Thor: The Dark World’, but after that, he will be making an appearance with his fellow Marvel heroes in ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’. But while promoting ‘Rush’ at the Toronto International Film Festival, the actor told MTV that he doesn’t really know anything about what’s next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In fact, he has no idea who Ultron is! Despite that, he is excited to work with James Spader. Check out everything he has to say about the project and his incredibly busy schedule in the video below:

While Ultron may be one of the most dangerous threats that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have ever faced in the comic books, you can’t really fault these actors for knowing very little about him. Aside from the fact that Whedon’s script may not be entirely finished yet, the character seems to have changed drastically from the version that long-time fans are used to. We already know that Hank Pym AKA Ant-Man won’t be the one to create the insane AI, but we’ve heard that other changes are to be expected as well. Hopefully the changes aren’t so numerous that we don’t even recognize the rapid robot, but considering that the director is a fan of the character, I feel like Ultron will essentially be the same at his core.

Are you excited to see Chris Hemsworth return as Thor in ‘Thor: The Dark World’ and ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’? How do you think the God of Thunder will fare against the sinister sentient software of Ultron? Share your thoughts in the comments.

‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’ assembles in theaters on May 1, 2015.
