Apparently Stephanie Meyer, the creator of the highest selling tween heart throb franchise to date (as well as elderly pedophile women) who wants nothing more than to set back empowered women 100’s of years, is “so over” her greatest creation.

Recently she sat down with Variety and had this to say about ‘The Twilight Saga’:

“I get further away every day. I am so over it. For me, it’s not a happy place to be.”

Well, Stephenie, from the rest of us out here who despise both ‘Twilight‘ and the culture it has been breeding let me assure you – we are over it too. The thing is, though, is that she isn’t entirely over it as she’d go back and visit the characters one more time. Not surprising since the franchise made well over $3.3 billion in world wide sales to date. Not only that, but it launched Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s careers.

Fortunately it wouldn’t be enough to make another movie out of it, though it wouldn’t surprise me if they tried:

“What I would probably do is three paragraphs on my blog saying which of the characters died. I’m interested in spending time in other worlds, like Middle Earth.”

For the record I hope “which of the characters died” would be all of them, by Blade, Now that’s actually a movie that the rest of us would want to go see! Also for the record, stay the hell away from Middle Earth. Seriously. Peter Jackson just brought it to life on the big screen in the best way possible and if you try to stick your nose into the literary aspect of that series, we’re going to see a bunch of helpless under aged human women being saved by ageless elves who never age.

No thank you. Keep your delusional fantasy worlds out of ours.
