While it’s common knowledge that teasers for a teaser trailer is not well liked or appreciated among the staff here on ScienceFiction.com, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and let one through that is worth the 10 second watch. ‘Enders Game’ is one of them.

Summitt Entertainment released this teaser but to make it more enticing to view, they had lead actors Asa Butterfield (‘Merlin’, ‘Hugo’) and Harrison Ford (‘Blade Runner’, ‘Star Wars’) film a quick intro to the clip.

The full teaser trailer will be unveiled tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7, at 1:00 p.m. PT/4:00 p.m. ET during a Google+ Hangout with the film’s director, Gavin Hood, as well as will producer Bob Orci and Ender himself, Asa Butterfield. Synopsis:

In the near future, a hostile alien race called the Formics have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley), all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) and the International Military are training only the best young minds to find the future Mazer.
