Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for the Jon Chu directed film ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ and you can watch it below!

The video is introduced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who plays Roadblock in the film. While it may seem like a rehash of the last trailer, new footage is shown half way through so stick with it. One thing that is noticeable is that this trailer seems to highlight the scenes that would look impressive in 3D.

If you recall, the film’s release date was pushed back from last June to this upcoming March as Paramount had wanted Chu to work on a 3D conversion of the film. Later it was revealed that they also wanted to take advantage of Channing Tatum’s rising star power as his appearance in the film as Duke Hauser was very minimal. Tatum filmed ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ before his breakout films, ‘The Vow’ and ’21 Jump Street,’ made him a sought after actor. Tatum was asked to return to film some extra scenes between him and Johnson not originally in the film.

The trailer continues to promise that this sequel will be a fun ride with more views of Bruce Willis, more new toys, more action and, of course, more Tatum.

Check it out below and let us know if you think the delay was worth the wait!
