Marvel Entertainment always brings the big guns out at San Diego Comic-Con. So far this year’s booth has featured costumes from ‘Doctor Strange’ and Ghost Rider’s Hell Charger from the upcoming season of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’. But today’s items on display are both smashing and out of this world.

Ahead of yesterday’s massive Marvel Studios panel, the House of Ideas has confirmed the long-time rumor that the ‘Planet Hulk’ storyline would be incorporated into ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. They did this by showing off some of the Jade Giant’s gladiator armor from the upcoming Phase Three film directed by Taika Waititi. You can check out it below courtesy of Agent M’s Instagram:

As you can see, the helmet, shoulder guard, and weaponry are nearly identical to the artwork featured in Greg Pak’s acclaimed Hulk storyline. The only thing really missing is the spiked full-arm piece, but we still get the idea. Hopefully we’ll get to see some concept art or something later today or somewhere down the line with Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner fumbling with the oversized helmet and axe. Sure, we definitely want to see the Hulk in the armor, but could you imagine how adorable Bruce would be trying to look tough while struggling to keep all that stuff on? You’re welcome for that image, internet.

What do you think of the Hulk’s armor from ‘Thor: Ragnarok’? Are you excited that the ‘Planet Hulk’ storyline is finally coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Let us know in the comments.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ starring Chris Hemsworth, Karl Urban, Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchard, Tessa Thompson, Jamie Alexander, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, and Mark Ruffalo strikes theaters on November 3, 2017.
