Day one of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con is well under way and plenty of news is already pouring out of the pop culture event of the year. And though the Marvel Studios panel isn’t until Saturday, we already have some ‘Doctor Strange’ related news for you.

As anticipated, the Sorcerer Supreme is making a mark on the convention floor in a number of ways. On top of appearing in ads around the city of San Diego, the House of Ideas has put a number of costumes from Scott Derrickson’s upcoming Phase Three film on display at the Marvel booth. For the benefit of those not present at the event, you can get a closer look at the good doctor’s signature attire from the film alongside Mordo and The Ancient One’s clothes courtesy of the Marvel Entertainment Twitter. Check them out below (click the first image to start the video), followed by the official synopsis of the film:

Doctor Strange SDCC 1

Marvel’s ‘Doctor Strange’ follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Although, if you’re looking to see  Benedict Cumberbatch and Chiwetel Ejiofor sporting these costumes, you can find that at the con as well… Sort of. At the Hasbro breakfast this morning, the Marvel Legends 6″ Scale figures for ‘Doctor Strange’ were revealed to the world. Toy Ark has a plethora of shots showing off Mordo and Strange’s action figures, as well as other new additions to the line such as Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), Spider-Man 2099 in his new costume, and more.
