From the Wachowski siblings and J. Michael Straczynski comes Netflix’s latest original series, ‘Sense8’.  The ambitious project has already garnered many comparisons to ‘Heroes’ and focuses on eight disparate souls from different cultures, living in different parts of the world, who becomes psychically bonded, able to access each others skills and knowledge as well as their deepest secrets.

The cast is comprised of: Will, a policeman in Chicago (played by Brian J. Smith); Nomi, a blogger/hacker from San Fancisco who also happens to be trans (Jamie Clayton); Wolfgang, a Berlin safe cracker (Max Riemelt); Kala, a pharmacist from Mumbai, who is about to be trapped in an arranged marriage (Tina Desai); Capheus, a noble cab driver in Nairobi (Aml Ameen); Sun, a Seoul business woman who is also, secretly an underground kickboxer (Bae Doona); Lito, a famous actor in Mexico City, who is secretly in a gay relationship (Miguel Ángel Silvestre); and Riley, a DJ from Iceland, seeking to break away from her drug-fueled lifestyle (Tuppence Middleton).

The cast is rounded out by Naveen Andrews, Daryl Hannah, Terrence Mann, Freema Agyeman, Alfonso Herrera, Erendira Ibarra, Adam Shapiro, Ness Bautista and Joe Pantoliano.
