We are less than a week away from the return of ‘The Walking Dead’ to television screens around the world. Fans have been clamoring for new episodes, and they’ll finally get their wish when the remainder of season three commences. Previously, we got some glimpses of the chaos awaiting us in Woodbury and at the prison in two trailers that tease the next chapter of AMC’s acclaimed zombie drama, but now we get a full clip to check in on the survivors.

When we last left the characters of Robert Kirkman’s post-apocalyptic world, a new group of people featuring a fan favorite character from the comics made their way into the prison. After encountering a herd in one of the cellblocks, Carl saved the day and brought them into the safe part of the compound to be tended to by Hershel. Now, in this new clip, the resident doctor tends to a new patient and the new group meets the little ass-kicker of the prison group. You can check out the full clip below, followed by the synopsis for the second half of the current season:

With his group in tatters, his sanity in question, and his own son questioning his every move, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) must somehow pull everyone together to face their greatest challenge — the Governor (David Morrissey).  In order to survive, he must risk everything, including the group’s very humanity.

Even though the Superbowl commercials for Time Warner Cable were great, they just weren’t enough to satisfy the craving for brains… I mean, ‘The Walking Dead’. Be sure to tune in to AMC this Sunday, February 10th to catch the brand new episode titled ‘The Suicide King’ and then check back here on ScienceFicton.com where we’ll have a full recap of the episode.
