It seems like there’s a new clip or featurette of Sony Pictures’ ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ hitting the web every day or two now. The movie’s July 3rd release date is only a month away but I’m sure we have a good half hour of footage if all of those bits were put together.

Well, now we DO have a half hour… sort of. A series of videos found their way to the web yesterday showing some of the b-rolls for ‘Amazing Spider-Man’. Each video is a jumble of unrelated clips, most of them only a second or two long. Most of these clips are scenes that we’ve already seen before in trailers but, as with anything like this, I recommend not watching them if you want to go into the film blind as there are a few things that might be considered minor spoilers.

What I love about these clips is that they really show off the stunt work that went into this movie. The filmmakers made it a point to use practical effects through wire work and parkour style action to simulate Spider-Man’s movements rather than resorting to CGI. Of extra note, when you’re watching… take note of how many times Andrew Garfield, who plays Peter Parker / Spider-Man, is doing his own stunts. Pretty darn impressive!

So what did you think? If you’ve been reading my coverage of the film here on ScienceFiction.com, you know mine… I. Cannot. Wait. For. This. Movie! Comment below and give us your thoughts.
