While ‘The Avengers’ continues to clean up at the box office, many fans are going to see it multiple times. Me? I’ve already moved on and an keeping my eyes peeled for any news about the upcoming ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ from Sony Pictures.

Thus far, we’ve had a great trailer and an extra-long super preview along with a slew of images.

The latest batch from the set of ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ comes courtesy of ComicBookMovie and feature Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker) alongside his stunt double, William Spencer. Spencer is a skateboarder and internet superstar famous for incorporating parkour into his skateboarding routines.

In the first image, Spencer is in the rafters of a warehouse where Peter Parker (Spencer) is about to leap his skateboard down 30 feet to a concrete floor.

The other images aren’t really spoilery and don’t hint at the story but they’re still pretty cool.

According to the ComicBookMovie piece, Garfield and Spencer hit it off pretty well, leading Spencer to say of Garfield: “He’s cool. And quite unlike all the actors with huge egos that you think he might be like. We earned each other’s respect. He says I am more famous than him, which is clearly ridiculous!”

Aside from looking like Garfield, Spencer’s skateboarding/parkour movements are full of high-flying wall-jumping action that look like they’ll be a perfect fit for Spider-Man. Check out the video below and you can get some idea of how Spider-Man might move in the movie.

‘Amazing Spider-Man’ is directed by Marc Webb, stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and Dennis Leary. It swings into theaters in 2D, 3D, IMAX, and IMAX 3D on July 3, 2012.
