‘Fear the Walking Dead’ just wrapped up its fifth season, and the tenth season of the main ‘Walking Dead’ series kicks off this weekend. So in while fans wait, AMC has offered a bonus– the first images from the upcoming third series in the franchise. The show doesn’t yet have a name, but it is known that this series will focus on younger characters, the first generation to come of age in the zombie apocalypse. The show focuses on two female leads– Aliyah Royale as Iris and Annet Mahendru as Huck. The cast also includes Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, and Alexa Mansour, along with older cast members Nico Tortorella and Joe Holt.
Cantu plays Elton who is “small for his age in addition to being friendly and an old soul. He also has a black belt in karate.” Cumpston’s character is named Silas, and is “big for his age. He is a shy loner that scares some kids, but he hates the fact that he scares people.” Mansour plays Hope, who is described as “a good-natured rule-breaker who lives for today. She is likable and funny on the outside but sad on the inside.”
Tortorella plays Felix, “an honorable man of his word who isn’t afraid to fight for others’ safety and acceptance,” while Holt portrays Leo Bennett, “a solid family man and respected professor with a generous heart and unwavering optimism for the future. He’d risk his life to save the people he cares about.”

Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.
The third ‘Walking Dead’ series is now filming. It is expected to debut on AMC in the spring of next year.
