With HBO’s impending ‘Watchmen’ series debuting in less than a month, a new image revealing what Ozymandias is up to has been released by Empire Magazine.

In the sneak peek, Jeremy Irons as the duplicitous Ozymandias (costumeless I might add) appears to be riding a white horse on the grounds of his manor, more than likely far away from the dystopian world constructed by Alan Moore and Damon Lindelof.

The photo shows Jeremy Irons as Ozymandias seemingly taking a break from his usual scheming, far from costumed vigilantes and the tremendous conspiracy mentioned in the ‘Watchmen’ trailer.  The character is known as the superhero-turned-billionaire who set the film of the same name in motion through his backstabbing, murderous schemes. The film ends with the story’s vigilantes uncovering Ozymandias’ conspiracy, however too late as his plan was still carried out.

The new photo of Iron’s Ozymandias implies that Adrian Veidt (Ozymandias’ secret identity) still was able to prevail, even after his dark deeds including deceiving the world into turning against Doctor Manhattan in Moore’s original story. Take a look at the image of Jeremy Irons as Ozymandias in ‘Watchmen’ below.
