Can we all agree that the invention of the gag reel was probably one of the top ten moments in cinematic history?  Who doesn’t enjoy seeing your favorite actors stumble over a line, trip over a curb, or simply break character for a belly laugh?  It’s fun to see these gods of and goddesses of the silver screen do something that brings them back down to our level and humanizes them.  When they do this, it’s easy to picture yourself in the scene with them or sharing a cold drink, and laughing right along with them.

One of the things that many people have enjoyed about the current Spider-Man reboot is the away that Tom Holland’s acting causes Peter Parker to be instantly identifiable to most people.  Speaking for myself, having grown up as just a big a geek as this version of Peter Parker, I instantly see myself in his shoes, struggling to make and keep friends, getting confused by and frustrated with bossy adults, and having absolutely no clue what to do with my attractions toward girls.  I think this is part of what makes this whole series and all his cameos in the other MCU films so fun.
