The Purge

We all know that ‘The Purge’ series lets those who live there have one night to do whatever they want with no laws holding them back. Now, the second season of the show will explore what happens throughout the rest of the year. The new trailer slightly reflects that showing off a bit of what the cleanup of a night of purging looks like. It will be interesting to see how the citizens of the United States deal with the outcome of a night of The Purge and how they prepare for next year’s outing.

According to USA Network, “Season 2 will explore how a single Purge night affects the lives of four interconnected characters over the course of the ensuing year, all inevitably leading up to the next Purge.”

With the success of the first season, somehow this hasn’t been a case of too many cooks in the kitchen. They’ve struck the right balance of keeping the concept interesting for fans of the movies as well as new viewers.

Based on the hit movie franchise, THE PURGE revolves around a 12-hour period when all crime, including murder, is legal. Season 2 explores how a single Purge night affects the lives of four interconnected characters over the course of the ensuing year, all inevitably leading up to the next Purge. Premiering this fall on USA Network, the second season of the anthology series opens on Purge night but dives deeper than ever before in to what the Purge world looks like the other 364 days of the year.
