We still don’t even know if Zoe Saldana’s Gamora was able to survive Tony Stark’s snap in ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ but we know how the actress wants to play the character if she returns. While The Russo Brothers have recently cast doubt on Gamora’s return, we’re all pretty sure that she wasn’t considered part of Thanos‘s army that was wiped away when Iron Man used the Infinity Gauntlet to save Earth.

As to how Saldana wants to play the daughter of Thanos is the next outing, we know that she was considered to be “The Deadliest Woman in the Galaxy” and the actress hasn’t been able to show that side of Gamora yet:
“The technical answer is, it all depends on what Marvel and James Gunn desire to do with the Guardians and with Gamora’s fate. There’s a part of me that wants her to go back, find her way back to the Guardians, but there’s also a part of me that wants to explore a bad Gamora. I’ve never seen that and she’s, you know, she’s considered the most lethal assassin, the most lethal woman in the galaxy, so I would want to see what that wrath looks like also because it would just give me layers to sort of work on. But yeah, I want her to get back to the Guardians.”
While I’m eager to see this Gamora who has yet to be part of the Guardians of the Galaxy trying to adapt to their life and Peter Quill being in love with her, the idea that she is still in a darker and more dangerous mindset when we next see the character is an exciting one.
