Mr. Sunday Movies has released quite a few 16-bit adaptations of epic cinematic sequences in the past and now they’ve delivered a take on the final fight from ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ For fans of classic gaming and everything from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this is an action-packed 5-minutes of animation in an 11-minute clip that is well worth sitting down to watch.
Their description of the film bills it as “16 Bit Scenes is back with a recreation of the Iron Man, Captain America, Thor final battle against Thanos. It’s an absolute good time don’t even worry about it.”

You can watch the full ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Final Battle in 16-bit right here!
The video was animated by John Stratman with music by Kenny Mac, and I love what they’ve done here.
I love that not only do you get the iconic Captain America wielding Mjolnir moment from the fight where Rogers can briefly hold his own against The Mad Titan but it also leads into the full-on battle between the army Thanos calls down and all of The Avengers which Dr. Strange summons into battle. Sadly, right as Cap makes the “Avengers Assemble” call we don’t get to see the big fight as that is where it comes to an end.
Maybe we’ll get a sequel that has it all play out! They do ask if fans would like to see one so I’m sure that the full fight is… inevitable.
What is great about this is that they try to keep it as accurate as possible, even having Howard the Duck walk in which wasn’t quite the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment that his inclusion into the feature film was.
