Tom Hiddleston Drops Some Hints About Loki On Disney+

While ‘Loki’ may have died at the hands of Thanos in ‘Avengers: Infinity War,‘ we witnessed one way he could return in ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ and know that Tom Hiddleston is set to reprise the role in an upcoming Disney+ series. Little is known about the upcoming miniseries outside of the fact that all of these new shows will directly tie into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and are being created by Marvel Studios.

While Hiddleston won’t confirm that the upcoming ‘Loki’ series will see the version who jumped away with the Space Stone in ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ a look at his past as a character, or that he had actually escaped his fate in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ with more trickery, he was willing to drop a few hints about the fresh take the series will deliver:

“It is a constant source of surprise and delight that these films have connected with people. I knew he was a complex figure. Intelligent yet vulnerable. Angry and lost and broken and witty. I thought it was an amazing opportunity, and it’s grown into this network of movies. I could never have expected it. I feel very fortunate that this character has connected with people.”

When asked for specifics as to where the new show could take the character, the God of Lies was, of course, keeping his mouth shut on specifics:

“All I can tell you is that it is called Loki. It is a new departure … but I can’t explain why.”

I’m eager for more details about this upcoming to drop, but it looks like they won’t be coming from Hiddleston unless Marvel Studios gives him the go-ahead closer to the show’s release.
