Jamie Neumann, Erica Tazel, And Mac Brandt Join The Cast Of 'Lovecraft Country'

HBO’s ‘Lovecraft Country’ is getting a little bigger as Jamie Neumann (‘The Deuce’), Erica Tazel (‘The Good Fight’), and Mac Brandt (‘Kingdom’) having just joined the cast of this upcoming series. This straight-to-series drama is being brought to life by Misha Green with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions, J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot, and Warner Bros Television all helping as well. The new series is an adaptation of Matt Ruff’s 2016 novel by the same name.

The story follows Jonathan Majors as “Atticus Freeman as he joins up with his friend Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s Letitia and his Uncle George played by Courtney B. Vance to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father.” What follows is a terrifying adventure that has cosmic horror which Lovecraft would have written about mixed with the group struggling “to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America.”
