Fans of Katee Sackhoff (‘Riddick’,’Battlestar Galactica’) were thrilled to learn that she would be returning to science fiction in ‘Another Life’ on Netflix and now we’ve learned when we can see it! In ‘Another Life,’ we will follow Sackhoff’s character, Niko Breckinridge, who is on a mission to find alien life. Niko and her crew are investigating what looks to be an alien artifact and will “face unimaginable danger” on what is being billed as a potential “one-way mission.”
We’ll have just over a month to wait as the streaming giant has slated the release to be on Thursday, July 25th, 2019!
Aaron Martin (‘Killjoys’) is the creator of the series and will act as showrunner while executive producer Noreen Halpern (‘Haven’) also helped put the show together.
A few glimpses as well as being able to hear Sackhoff in character can be found at the 1:20 mark of this “What To Watch In July” teaser and you can expect that a full trailer will be on the horizon in the coming weeks. One can only hope as we don’t get even 10-seconds of footage in this one:
Joining Sackhoff will be Selma Blair, Tyler Hoechlin, Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson, Elizabeth Faith Ludlow, Jessica Camacho, Alex Ozerov, Jake Abel, and Barbara Williams.
Netflix has also revealed three initial shots from ‘Another Life’ including the one we used above that features some of the leading cast members:
