Millie Bobby Brown And Finn Wolfhard Talk 'Stanger Things' Season 3 Romance

They found love in a hopeless place! Well, the upside-down, to be exact.

In the upcoming third season of ‘Stranger Things,’ Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) are able to explore their romance after sharing a dance and long-awaited kiss at the end of the second season.

In a recent interview on Good Morning America, Brown and Wolfhard were asked about their new on-screen romance. At one point, the anchor asked if the new dynamic was awkward for the actors, and they replied:

“No, there’s nothing awkward about it.”

The two give credit to the fact that they have developed a strong friendship off-screen. Wolfhard also credits the environment on set, saying:

“The [Duffer Brothers] made a really comfortable set.”

Brown added:

“And we’ve been doing it for three years. We’re comfortable. And afterward we’re kinda just like, ‘alright chill, let’s go back to school.’”

Eleven has seen tremendous character growth throughout the seasons of ‘Stranger Things.’ Season Three will undoubtedly focus on the relationships she continues to build in an attempt to find normalcy in her life.

One of those relationships is the one she built with Max (Sadie Sink). Max and Eleven serve as the female powerhouses in their all-male group of friends. Speaking about this, Sink said:

“The first two seasons they primarily focus on the friendship within the boys. So I think it’s so important that we have a strong female friendship on the show and especially [between] two strong characters like Eleven and Max.”

Oh, were you thinking Season Three would be all sunshine and rainbows? Think again, says Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin). He revealed:

“It’s definitely gorier, which is pretty cool. If you don’t like gorier stuff, I mean watch it anyway…It’s not for the faint of heart.”
