Disney+ Gives Us Our First Look At 'Loki'

While we still don’t know exactly how Disney+ will continue the story of Loki, we do have the first image from the new upcoming Marvel series. With the God of Mischief having died in ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ one can only guess that this we’ll be following the adventures of the Loki who escaped imprisonment in ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ but it isn’t clear if this miniseries will give him a new lease on life or just show us his adventures before Captain America puts him back where he belongs in the timeline.

Either way, seeing more of Tom Hiddleston as Thor’s brother is a reason to put a smile on almost anyone’s face!

Here is the first official image from a Disney investor event which showed Kevin Feige standing in front of a still from the show which also features the official logo of ‘Loki.’

The logo slightly resembles the ‘Journey Into Mystery’ font which gave us Kieron Gillen’s take on Kid Loki, but with Hiddleston back it seems unlikely that is the route we’ll see the story take. Unless it involves time travel and a creative way for Loki to return to the land of the living.

What you can tell from the image is that there is that ‘Jaws’ is on a theater marque behind wherever Loki is walking away from which seems to indicate that this story will take place in 1975 (since that is when Steven Spielberg’s film came out). This makes you wonder if we’ll be getting a story about time travel or if we’ll actually have the God of Mischief narrating various points of his life which likely didn’t all take place on Asgard.

We’ve heard rumors about seeing Loki at different points in time and this new image seems to confirm that.
