It’s Go Time With Funko and Crash Bandicoot

Crash Bandicoot fans will be excited to see the characters POP! Vinyls line expanding even further with the announcement of new ‘Crash Team Racing’ POP! Rides! So far the only one announced is Crash Bandicoot himself in his racer, but hopefully he sells well enough that we see a few more fan favorite characters and their vehicles join the line! The new Crash Bandicoot ‘Crash Team Racing’ POP! Rides figures are due in stores in the coming weeks.

A Whole New World Of Funko

While many of us out there are growing a bit tired of Disney’s decision to make live action adaptations of their classic animated films, it’s hard not to get excited about seeing a live action take on Disney’s ‘Aladdin’! The original film was a visual animated masterpiece, and the new live action version looks to be trying to do the same in a big way. As always, the team at Funko are ready to go with a full lineup of new POP! Vinyls for the latest Disney film, with the new ‘Aladdin’ wave of POP! Vinyls expected to start hitting stores any day now! Included in this wave are Aladdin  (Agrabah) with Abu, Aladdin (Prince Ali), Princess Jasmine, Jafar, and The Genie! There will also be several retailer exclusive variants, like Glow-In-The-Dark Genie (Amazon), Diamond Collection Princess Jasmine (FunkoSHop), and Desert Moon Princess Jasmine (Hot Topic).

Funko, I Choose You!

While we were speaking figuratively when we first told you a few months ago that Pokemon was the next big thing coming our way from Funko, the team behind the POP! Vinyls line has decided to make it a quite literal statement! Following in the footsteps of the massive Pikachu from last winter, Funko is bringing us a new 10″ POP! Vinyl of Bulbasaur this May! Sadly, much like with Pikachu, this massive Bulbasaur POP! Vinyl is set to be a Target exclusive when he releases next month.

And with that, we bring this week’s Toy News Tuesday to a close! What do you think about the new items announced this week? Do you plan on picking up anything we mentioned in this week’s column?
