The stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are kept under a strict code of silence when promoting their pictures. There are a few notorious blabbermouths, most notably Tom Holland, who directors Joe and Anthony Russo recently divulged isn’t even given scripts, just his lines, with very little information about who or what he is supposed to be interacting within the scene. But Mark Ruffalo is another notorious security breach.
You may recall that time he accidentally let slip that half the heroes would be wiped out in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, although he tried to cover his flub.

The original six Avengers– Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner– grace the covers of Entertainment Weekly‘s newest edition, and sat down to promote ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and to look back.
Ruffalo was asked about the biggest spoiler her ever accidentally spilled, with his costars recalling the time he streamed the first ten minutes of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, filmed in an actual theater with an audience, on social media. However, Ruffalo’s ‘Ragnarok’ costar Hemsworth came to his defense, stating:
“Wait, wait, that was actually genius! There might be some strategy there, because [the audience] laughed so hard during that [footage]. All [viewers] could hear was laughing. They went, ‘It must be good!’”
Ruffalo agreed, saying that this breach turned out in everyone’s favor.
“It sort of turned around on me. Because when I came to work on Monday [on the set of Endgame] everyone ran up to me. I thought they were coming to scream at me — Barry [Curtis, ‘supreme security at Marvel Studios’], he threw his arms around me. ‘That was genius! We got more press than we could have possibly paid for!’”

While some fans want all the spoilers they can get, that seems to be the opposite case when it comes to ‘Endgame’, with most wanting a completely fresh experience when they sit down in theaters in two weeks.
The wait is almost over. The biggest movie event in years– maybe ever– is within our grasp. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ opens on April 26.
