With the release of M. Night Shyamalan‘s ‘Glass‘ right around the corner, we’re seeing more details from the film start to surface online. These new ones don’t share too many big details about the plot but do provide a few juicy bits as to what to expect as well as when the movie will take place. It was never too obvious how much time had taken place between ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘Split’ as the movies being part of a series weren’t even revealed until the very end. It felt like enough time had passed for Bruce Willis to start embracing his role as a vigilante, but not much is really known past that.
Of the new details, the three main points are:
- GLASS picks up a couple of weeks after SPLIT
- You will see McAvoy perform about 20 different personalities
- Never-before-seen footage from UNBREAKABLE will be in the film
We know from ‘Split’ that McAvoy’s Kevin Wendell Crumb has 24 personalities with “The Beast” being the one that gives him supernatural strength and abilities. It will be fun watching him be able to portray quite a few of these throughout the film, and hopefully, they won’t all be just done through quick sessions, and we’ll get to spend some time with a few of them.
That being said, I think the most important aspect that we’re learning here is only a few weeks have passed since the events in ‘Split.’ This means that there won’t have been much time to have studied him and find out exactly how powerful he truly is.
You can see them mentioned in the tweet below:

Following the conclusion of ‘Split,’ ‘Glass’ finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
‘Glass’ will break into your local theaters on January 18th, 2019!
