The studio behind the upcoming animated film ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse’ just released b-roll footage that gives fans the chance to see the voice work that goes into bringing the characters to life!
The film’s stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Liev Schreiber, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren, John Mulaney, and Kimiko Glenn are shown in the footage acting in full hair and make-up. Not one to be outdone, Nicolas Cage shows up in a full suit to voice his character, Spider-Man Noir.
Cage’s character is a black-and-white detective version of Spider-Man from an alternate dimension, and he takes this role very seriously. In the footage, he is shown with his brow furrowing and his hands dramatically gesticulating as he says:
“Wherever I go, the wind follows, and the wind…smells like rain.”
