Studio Behind The Walking Dead Will Offer Immersive Tours For Fans

Have you been longing to roam the walker-filled streets of the world of ‘The Walking Dead?’ Well, you’re in luck! Fans of the zombie drama will soon get the chance to explore the most iconic sets and locations, as Riverwood Studios in Senoia, Georgia, announced that it will soon offer tours.

Alexandria, the Sanctuary, the Heaps, the seaside motor court of Oceanside, and the Hilltop (including the grand Antebellum Mansion on 3.5 acres of working farmland) will all be available for fans to live out their own ‘Walking Dead’ fantasies!

The tours will be immersive, two-hour tour experiences, and will give fans behind the scenes knowledge about how the studio brings ‘The Walking Dead’ to life!

Tom Luse, executive producer of ‘The Walking Dead’ and General Manager of Riverwood Studios, spoke about the opportunity to place fans into the show’s world, saying:

“For years, the devoted fans of ‘The Walking Dead’ have been eager to get behind the studio walls and see the unique way this series is made. It’s exciting to now offer a closer look to all who have supported ‘The Walking Dead.’”

He continued, saying:

“Our cast and crew work tirelessly to bring this series to life. We are extremely grateful to all who make this show possible on and off set. We could think of no better way to say thank you than to share behind the scenes with the public.”

The Studio Tour with Alexandria & Woodbury experience consists of a 95-minute bus tour of Riverwood Studios’ stages and backlots followed by a 25-minute bus tour of Alexandria and the Town of Woodbury. Each guest will receive a commemorative The Walking Dead Studio Tour security badge.

The tours will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays beginning Friday, December 14. Tickets are $65 for adults and $45 for children. Find out more and book your tickets here!
