Supergirl‘ is in bad shape in the trailer for the upcoming episode of the series titled “Man Of Steel.” It jumps in right after “Fallout” that shows Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl suffering from the massive amounts of Kryptonite which was put into the atmosphere by Rhona Mitra’s Mercy Graves. On top of that, it seems we’re finally being introduced to Sam Witwer’s Agent Liberty who will be the primary villain for the current season. He can be seen in full costume in the image above.

We know that Agent Liberty is “a brilliant orator in the guise of a family man who can easily convince people that he’s right” but he is also “the ruthless and terrifying leader of the Children of Liberty, a human-first hate group.”

As to the episode that you’re about to see a trailer for that introduced the character into The Arrowverse:

Ben Lockwood (Sam Witwer) didn’t always hate aliens. Through a series of incidents and input from his anti-alien father (guest star Xander Berkeley), Ben slowly transforms from a mild-mannered professor into the villainous Agent Liberty of today.
