Legends Of Tomorrow

We’ve previously learned that the ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ will not be in this year’s “Arrowverse” crossover on The CW but it sounds like they still plan on helping to celebrate the annual festivities. While they won’t be crossing over in the main event, it seems that they’ve got a fun episode of their own planned out. It likely won’t be as cool to see as a live-action Batwoman being introduced in ‘The Flash,’ ‘Arrow,’ and ‘Supergirl’ for this year’s “Elseworlds” event but showrunner Keto Shimizu has a trick up her sleeve.

During The CW’s Fall Launch event which had occurred at the Warner Bros. Lot Shimizu announced:

“During the week that all the other crossovers are happening, we will essentially be crossing over with ourselves” as the cast of ‘Legends of Tomorrow” has an episode that covers “alternate time periods.”

Caity Lotz who plays White Canary on the series added:

“That particular episode is insane. I think they wanted to do something special since we weren’t going to be doing the [‘Elseworlds’] crossovers.”

However, the fun part is that she went on with another detail about the “alternate” time periods where “You’ll see a lot of different sides of the Legends.” It sounds that just like in the “Spear of Destiny” episode which was the Season 2 finale, we’ll likely see characters interacting with themselves from different points in time.

Tala Ashe who plays Zari loved doing the episode as well:

“I’ll just say it’s a lot of work for the people who are in those scenes! It’s fun.”
