UFO

Gillian Anderson is getting back to her roots from ‘The X-Files’ as she shows off her talent in this new clip for ‘UFO.’ The film was written and directed by Ryan Eslinger and was put together by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

This new film introduces us to a college student who ends up getting involved in a government cover-up. While Anderson won’t be playing an FBI agent in this outing, she is the student’s professor and is not someone who you’d want to be on the receiving end of a failing grade from.

You can check out what I mean in the trailer below!

Harsh is an understatement from Anderson’s performance, and I suspect that she’ll have quite an impactful role in the movie beyond this scene as she’ll be recruited to help the young man at the center of this conspiracy. About to flunk out of college, it is clear that he’s going to have to push to receive the help of Dr. Hendricks (who Anderson is playing in the film).

It will be hard not to make comparisons to Scully with the content of the film and the hairstyle that Anderson is wearing, but this should be a different enough part that if it is well written is something that audiences can quickly get over.
