Legendary New Convention Exclusives From Hasbro

Last week we gave you a first look at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Marvel Legends ‘Defenders’ box set that is based on the hit Netflix series of the same name! This week we finally have some more information to go with the image that leaked from THR, including the official box set name and price!

This set has officially been dubbed the ‘Defenders Rail Authority’ box set, and as we mentioned last week it includes many of your fan favorite ‘Defenders’ characters like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Colleen Wing, and Iron Fist! This set will be sold first at San Diego Comic Con for $124.99, with any leftover stock to be made available later on HasbroToyShop.com. Check out the full release from Hasbro below!

MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES DEFENDERS RAIL AUTHORITY 5-PACK
(HASBRO/Ages 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $124.99/Available at Booth #3329 at Comic-Con International in San Diego)

Imagine JESSICA JONES, LUKE CAGE, DAREDEVIL, IRON FIST, and COLLEEN WING defending New York City with the MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES DEFENDERS RAIL AUTHORITY 5-PACK. Each figure features multiple points of articulation and premium, detailed styling, and comes packed out in an original package designed to look like the underground public transportation of New York City. Includes five 6-inch figures and five accessories. The MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES DEFENDERS RAIL AUTHORITY 5-PACK will be for sale at San Diego Comic-Con 2018. Limited quantities of this item will be available at select conventions and select online retailers after the convention in the relevant market (including HasbroToyShop.com where available). Good while supplies last.

If this set isn’t enough for you, Hasbro has one more trick up their sleeve that even they aren’t ready to show us yet! The team at ToyArk is reporting that an image of a new Marvel Legends box set was posted to the ‘Hasbro Pulse’ Instagram account this weekend, only to be quickly was removed from the page entirely!

The contents of this set have not been seen, but from the description, it looks to contain a 6″ Marvel Legends Red Skull figure along with an electronic Tesseract (likely a life-sized prop replica) as part of the ‘Marvel Studios: The First 10 years’ series! If we had to guess based on the box design and Hasbro’s release history, this is likely going to be a San Diego Comic Con exclusive. We already know Red Skull is getting a single figure release later this year as part of the ‘Marvel Studios: The First 10 years’ line, much like last years ‘Star Wars: The Black Series’ Gran Admiral Thrawn figure who came packaged in a similarly styled box set.

No further details are currently available for this set, although we will be sure to keep you posted as soon as we know more!
