Get ready to bring some Kleenex into ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ as it sounds like one of the major players will be taken off the board right as the movie begins! We’ve already known that not every Avenger is likely to make it through both ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers 4’ but it sounds like to show how powerful Thanos truly is we’ll be losing someone right away.
A reliable source has stated that:
“The beginning of Avengers: Infinity War features the death of a major Marvel character. Some fans will be expecting it, while others will be blindsided. It sets the tone for the rest of the movie – as well as the future of the MCU. It’s good that the Russo Brothers are telling fans to be emotionally prepared for the film – because they’ll definitely need to be. Whether you’re expecting it or not, it’s going to be BIG.”
There are two major theories that one can imagine would bite the dust right off the bat. The most obvious choice is Loki. We know that our favorite God of Mischief took the Tesseract with him at the end of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and it could very well be that we see him sacrifice himself to save his brother and possibly the remaining Asgardians.
On the flip side, we haven’t seen just about anything from Xandar or The Collector as of yet in previews and as they are both in possession of Infinity Stones as well, either of these areas could also be what the source means.
Guess we’ll find out next week when ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ blows the box office away!
