With ratings heading further south with each season, it looks like AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead‘ is planning to turn things around with a little nudity! Specifically, nudity of the undead variety. Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve learned that there is going to be a nude walker in the second half of the current season of ‘The Walking Dead.’ At this time there are no details as to if we’ll just be seeing a shot from behind or if they’re going full frontal though I suspect with network censorship there will be a creative way to hide the rotting naughty bits that end up on screen.
The news came from executive producer Greg Nicotero who exposed the world to this bit of information:
“There’s an episode where we did our first fully nude walker. We’ve never done that before.”
That is the only detail which he was willing to share so we don’t know as to the gender of said zombie or how they’ll be incorporated into the shot as of yet. I’m expecting a shot from the back or using the scenery to prevent any censors from having a fit.
With the back half of the season primarily putting a focus on Carl’s death and Rick stopping Negan one way or another, it wouldn’t be too surprising if this was a pretty quick inclusion. At least the necrophiliacs have something to look forward to in the upcoming episodes.
No matter how you look at it, this could be the most horrifying scene on a show about zombies in years!
