Happy!

The initial reviews of Syfy’s ‘Happy!‘ are in and the show is clearly going to be a huge draw. With strong first and second week ratings, it would seem that viewers are in agreement. Following through so for those who don’t have Syfy or haven’t had a chance to look for it OnDemand, you’re in luck. Not only is the first episode of ‘Happy!’ of Syfy available on Syfy’s YouTube channel but the second is as well for no charge.

You know how it goes, the first taste is free.

Many companies will allow you to stream an episode either night of or day after a release through their own streaming service or if you prove that you have them through your cable provider, but fully free on YouTube is a rarity.

For those unfamiliar with this absurdly fun concept, here is a rundown of what you can expect from the series:

HAPPY! is based on New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name. The series follows Nick Sax (Christopher Meloni, Law & Order: SVU) – an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hit man – who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. After a hit gone wrong, his inebriated life is forever changed by a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue winged horse named Happy (Patton Oswalt).

Yes, it is as dark and funny and fun as it sounds. Absurd really is the only way to describe it but in a way that will have you wanting to know what happens next and laughing – and even doing a facepalm.
