Star_Wars_Rogue_One_1_CoverWe’ve known for a couple of months now that Marvel is set to release a comic adaptation of ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘ this April and now the publisher has revealed a few scenes from the first issue. Jody Houser has a lot on her plate writing this as not only does she have to give us an interesting take on one of the best ‘Star Wars’ films of all time but we know that she also has to weave in “story content not seen in the film!”

The first issue in this 6-part miniseries will at the very least be visually beautiful as you can see below thanks to “art by Emilio Laiso (‘Star Wars Annual’) and Oscar Bazaldua (‘Gwenpool Holiday Special.’)”

This April just can’t come soon enough! While we know that there will be new scenes added to the comic, I’m wondering if anything important had to be cut in order to make this happen.

Here are the preview pages that they’ve shared with us:

As well as two new variant covers which weren’t in our original post!

The art is clearly top notch and we know the story this is based off was a fun watch. I’m just hoping that the excitement can properly translate from screen to page. I’m sure that most of you are most excited about the same thing as I am, though – additional content!

What do you think will be added to the comic which wasn’t in the cinematic version of ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’? Are you planning on snagging these issues individually or wait for a graphic novel to be released? Share your thoughts below!
