A good trailer for a movie tells you everything that you need to know. It should excite you for the coming attraction and entice you to head to the theater to see it as soon the first opportunity arises. But when nearly every piece of promotional material causes audible sighs and eye rolls, it’s hard for a single trailer to restore one’s faith. And while it may not be a great sign that it took this long for it to happen, we might just finally have something really exciting from Dean Israelite’s ‘Power Rangers’.

With just under a month to go before the reboot of the beloved franchise comes to a theater near you, Lionsgate has recently released an all-new international trailer to show off what these new Rangers have got. Though it shares many elements with the second domestic trailer, this one cuts out the comedy and focuses on the action (which is really what the international audiences seem to eat up from Hollywood). Aside from the usual shots of the five heroes discovering their powers, they are seen fighting the new version of the Putty Patrol, Goldar, and Rita Repulsa. We even get a slightly extended peek at the Megazord in action. At the end of the day, the content in this trailer isn’t exactly fresh, but the way that it was cut together is sure to get plenty of people all over the world stoked about revisiting Angel Grove, California. You can check out the trailer below courtesy of Screen Rant, followed by the official synopsis of the film:

Saban’s ‘Power Rangers’ follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.
